To start with, Mike gives us a "helicopter" view of the layout from a ladder, taking us around the entire layout to show us how it fits into the room.
Then Mike takes us town-by-town/scene-by-scene around the layout at track level to show in depth what's in each town. Along the way, we get to see trains running through each key scene.
All total, the entire layout tour runs a whopping three hours.
